Chris Metzner, a self-driven and motivated designer has a lifelong passion for anime, manga, video games and animation.

Specializing in character design, illustrations and sequential art, Chris is proficient in demonstrating a strong sense of proportion, creativity and boldness with his characters. He adapts easily to any timeline, while still delivering quality artwork, by managing his time to the extreme. Having a powerful and energetic design is the foundation to any piece of his art. He is versatile in a variety of styles from realism, anime, western comic to whimsical.

Accomplishments Chris is proud to have achieved include growing an engaged audience on social media, selling his artwork, self-publishing his first 240 page graphic novel, "Sincerely Elise", having the honor to work and collaborating with various art supply companies, and running a business promoting and selling his artwork at conventions. Along with that, Chris has worked with companies such as Hypebeast and Upperdeck to create artwork for sketchcards and manga.

This 24 Brush Pro art marker set was carefully selected by Chris, an illustrator, designer and a huge anime fan! It's anime-inspired color's range include the desaturated pastel palette he likes working with!

His goal was to achieve having at least one of each color with a darker shade of that color to work with, so the kit would contain a nice desaturated, pastel range that could be used for any character you wish to sketch.
